  • Think in trade-offs. AZ-305 rarely asks "what is X" — it asks which design best balances cost, resilience, performance, and security for a given scenario. Practise justifying one option over plausible alternatives.
  • Follow the official study guide. The AZ-305 study guide lists every skill measured — treat it as your checklist and don't skip low-weight areas.
  • Master case studies. Expect multi-question case studies where earlier answers can't be changed later. Practising with case-study questions first is the single biggest preparation shortcut.
